Colombo by Tuk Tuk
Immerse yourself in Sri Lanka's capital city, discovering its hidden gems both past and present. Meet your host at Independence Square, a historic backdrop to begin the experience. From here you will travel by Tuk Tuk through winding streets that reflect both the bustling city that exists today and its colonial heritage. Reflect in the gloriously colorful Gangaramaya temple and marvel at the granite structure of Sri Ponnambala Vanneswarar Temple. It is here you will learn about Buddhism and Hinduism continue to have on one another long after their inception in Sri Lanka. After you travel through some of modern-day Colombo you will reach Pettah. Your knowledgeable guide will wa lk you through the bustling streets of this merchant city developed over time since 1656. By far the most stunning landmark in this area is JamiUl-Alfar a red and white mosque built in 1909.
Travel to Dambulla (En-route visit Dambulla Cave Temple)
Tucked in the Central Province of Sri Lanka, the humble town of Dambulla is a treasure trove of historical monuments that are definitely worth a visit. Dambulla is also home to the largest rose quartz mountain in South Asia and the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. Of all the places to visit in Dambulla, the amazing Dambulla cave temple complex must be first on your list. The Dambulla Cave Temples a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dating back to the first century BC and considered to hold the most breath-taking masterpieces of Buddhist Art in Sri Lanka. The complex spans five caves and contains over 150 Buddha images, some of which date as far back as the 1st century BC. The most elaborate and spectacular of the caves is the massive reclining Buddha statue rests in the background. After exploring the cave complex, step outside and witness a beautiful view of the nearby countryside.

Hiriwadunna Village Excursion
This afternoon, pay a visit to a farmer's house in Sigiriya and immerse yourself in the day to day lifestyle and farming traditions, including an exploration of his organic garden. The guided walk goes alongside Hiriwadunna lake giving chance to spot birds and land monitors and cross a little jungle rivulet by Catamaran. The bullock cart ride through the paddy fields would be of another very interesting experience and feel the traveling back in time where the early Sri Lankans used the bullock cart rides as a main mode of transportation here in Sri Lanka. Enjoy a home-cooked Sri Lankan lunch from your host, indulging in delicious traditional fare and savoring the locally grown ingredients.
Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Wildlife Safari at Minneriya National Park
Rise early for your journey to the magnificent rock-top fortress of Sigiriya, a 5th century UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through picturesque water and boulder gardens, past the pools and fountains, and climb past the ancient and colossal Lion’s Paws to a steep winding 200-meter high staircase. Pause during your ascent to admire the mirror wall and the famous Sigiriya frescoes. Upon reaching the summit you will admire 360-degree breath-taking views of the surrounding jungle and hills. Afternoon, proceed for a jeep safari at Minneriya National Park. The Park is based largely around a huge tank (reservoir) and serves as the largest assembling of Asian Elephants at any given time. Besides elephants, Minneriya is also home to many species of mammals like the deer, sambur sloth bear and a variety of birds. During the dry season (June to September), this tank is an incredible place to observe the elephants who come to bathe and graze at the reservoir.

Hatton was founded during the British colonial times in order to serve the coffee plantations and latter tea estates. Hatton serves as a gateway to Adam's Peak and Sinharaja Forest Reserve but is better known for its Ceylon tea plantations.

What went into creating the perfect cup of refreshing Ceylon tea in 1867 were equal parts science, art, sleight of hand, and a spot of luck. And not much has changed since! As some of the methodology and machinery are over a century old we strongly believe that Ceylon Tea itself is part of the world’s living heritage. And this is your invitation to partake in it.
Day at Leisure
Day at leisure to relax at the hotel and enjoy the in-house amenities or explore on your own the beautiful tea valley. The landscape lends itself to long walks and bicycle rides, with routes winding past British-built stone churches and Hindu temples painted in primary shades. Continue your drive to Yala.

Travel to Colombo (En-route Galle City Tour)
Travel to Colombo. En-route enjoy a city tour of Galle. This tour of Galle allows you to explore the fort area on foot. We will take you to all the places that have so many stories in-store for you to be heard. You will be able to climb up to the ramparts of the fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and walk through the streets. Galle Fort Clock Tower built in the late 19th-century and is a four-storied monument made up of stone. Galle Fort Lighthouse another UNESCO World Heritage Site and was built in 1848 during the British colonial period and is a perfect spot to relax and feel the beauty of nature. Along the way, you will take a break with a cup of fine Ceylon Tea or a refreshing King Coconut. Continue your drive to Colombo, a sprawling city home to over five million people. It is traditionally centered around Fort, a business district with its roots as a fortified Portuguese trading port. The Tour Will Finish with a direct transfer to the Colombo Airport.
