Miramar Golf Country Club
As one of the most prestigious golf resorts in Taiwan, the Miramar Golf & Country Club has been the home course to Tseng Ya-ni and Cheng Ssu-chia since its opening in 1995. Its reputation and status is further elevated for its experience of holding several international events, such as the Fubon Senior Open of the European Tour, Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship, and Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic, etc. Club spreads on a hilly region in New Taipei City. “Golden Bear” Jack Nicklaus planned and designed two 18-hole courses—Southeast and Northwest—on the property. Not long in yardage though, the two courses are filled with Jack Nicklaus’ signature design style. A total of 12 ponds and 110 gigantic American bunkers scatter around the well-maintained fairways and greens. The relatively fast layered greens are full of fun and challenge due to the elevation changes and curves. Golfing on Miramar will be a memorable experience mixed with fellowship and fun.
Sunrise Golf & Country Club
Opened in October 1992, the Sunrise Golf & Country Club is a versatile resort that is a great blend of golf and leisure enjoyments. This world-class layout was built by Robert Trent Jones Jr., one of the most prestigious course designers in the world. The standard 18-hole course measures 7,200 yards, with beautiful views accented by the trees and flowers planted along the fairways and around the clubhouse. The fairways are carpeted with Bermuda 328 grass and show an incredible variety of undulation and elevation change. Imported champion grass instead of Bermuda is chosen for its putting surface. The excellent design makes Sunrise a venue for various international golf games, including the LPGA Taiwan Championship from 2011 to 2013. The 29th Summer Universiade will also take place at Sunrise in 2017. These achievements make Sunrise one of the most international golf courses in Taiwan.

Kaohsiung Golf & Country Club and later travel to Taitung
Located near the famous tourist spot Chengcing Lake, the Kaohsiung Golf & Country Club, with the first nine holes opened in 1961, is the oldest golf course in southern Taiwan. It perhaps is one of the most challenging courses in Taiwan. Built with old designs, the course features 7,000 yards in length, luxuriant forests and elevated greens. Each hole offers an exceptional challenge due to the rolling topography and zigzagging fairways. There are six holes with a length of more than 550 yards in Kaohsiung Golf & Country Club. Uniquely beautiful views are for your enjoyment while you are walking on the course, such as the tower standing tall beside the 10th green. The availability of such views in nature provides a relaxing visual treat during a highly challenging round. Afternoon travels to Taitung.
