DAY 1

Arrive at colombo airport and travel to galle

Welcome to Sri Lanka!!! Upon arrival at Colombo airport, Total Holiday Options Executive will meet you at the arrival lounge holding a placard. Followed by transfer to Kahanda Kanda in Koggala.

DAY 2

Hadunugoda Tea Factory & Plantation visit

Visit the Handunugoda Low Country Tea Plantation and enjoy a stroll through acres of lush tea bushes, before heading back to the antique tea factory to learn how the tea is collected, dried, withered and processed before making its way to your cup. While not a fully-functioning factory, you can still admire the processes and old machinery as most of the factory has been converted to a museum. Tea lovers can even sample a freshly made cup of the best Ceylon tea at the end of their tour. The Handunugoda Low Country Tea Plantation is located in the southern town of Ahangama and can be visited in a few hours. The estate also grows coconut, cinnamon and rubber for visitors to admire!

Cooking Demonstration with the Chef

Later, enjoy the Kahanda Kanda cooking demonstration with the chef is an engaging culinary experience set in the luxurious and intimate surroundings of the boutique hotel. Guided by the skilled chef, you’ll get hands-on instruction in preparing traditional Sri Lankan dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The session typically covers the use of aromatic spices and herbs, teaching you to create authentic Sri Lankan flavors in dishes like curries, sambols, and coconut-based specialties. The experience is personalized, allowing you to interact with the chef, ask questions, and enjoy the dishes you’ve prepared while taking in the estate’s serene ambiance.

Koggala Lake Boat Trip

Today, we embark on a morning adventure to explore the fascinating hidden islands of Koggala Lake. Discover spice islands, Buddhist temples, and a bird sanctuary during a two-hour boat trip across Sri Lanka's second-largest inland waterbody. As you cruise through the serene waters, you'll be immersed in the natural beauty and cultural richness of the area, offering a peaceful escape and a chance to connect with Sri Lanka's unique heritage..

Travel to KK Beach and Spend the day on the Beach

Today, we offer complimentary transport to KK Beach, a sister hotel of the KK Hotel Group, where you can enjoy sun-drenched days on the pristine Habaraduwa Beach. Relax and unwind as you swim, dine, and embrace the serene seaside atmosphere. Stroll along the soft, golden sands, take a refreshing dip in the sea, and enjoy sundowners as you indulge in the ultimate beachside retreat.

DAY 5

Galle City Tour and Mask Factory

Today enjoy the Galle city tour. This tour of Galle allows you to explore the fort area on foot. You will be able to climb up to the ramparts of the fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and walk through the streets. We visit the Dutch Reformed Church located inside Galle Fort, the church has high historic value. Galle Fort Clock Tower built in the late 19th-century and is a four-storied monument made up of stone. Galle Fort Lighthouse another UNESCO World Heritage Site and was built in 1848 during the British colonial period and is a perfect spot to relax and feel the beauty of nature. Along the way, you will take a break with a cup of fine Ceylon Tea or a refreshing King Coconut. Later visit Mask Factory in the town of Ambalangoda, famous for traditional masks making, mask dancing & puppetry in Sri Lanka. The clients could witness a variety of masks and how they are turned out of “Kaduru wood” (Balsac) in which the wood is soaked to soften before carving.

DAY 6

Travel to Colombo

Travel to Colombo. On the western coast of the island, Colombo is a sprawling city home to over five million people. It is traditionally centered around Fort, a business district with its roots as a fortified Portuguese trading port. Hot and busy, recent years have seen Colombo gradually transform from a place visitors could not avoid to a fascinating destination well worth exploring. Its historic quarters and grand 19th-century architecture have been restored, the seafront spruced up and cosmopolitan vibe revived with numerous museums, galleries and characterful eateries opening that celebrate its unique and diverse heritage. The city is dotted with temples, shrines, cafes, markets and is best explored by Tuk-Tuk or with your vehicle.
