This package is designed to offer insight into Brunei’s history, culture and nature. In the evening Night Tour with a photo stop at Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, visit the night market and shop at one of the largest shopping malls in Brunei. On the nature get away from Brunei’s capital city and immerse yourself in the dense rainforest of Ulu Temburong National Park, Brunei’s first national park. Ascend to the top of the rainforest, over 160 feet above the forest floor, on Ulu Temburong’s Canopy Walk. Get a unique experience of life when you visit locals who live in Ulu Temburong and enjoy lunch prepared by them over the Temburong River.

DAY 1

Upon arrival at Brunei's International Airport in Bandar Seri Begawan, you will meet & greet by our representative dressed in Brunei traditional costume and proceed with a private transfer to your hotel.

Private Proboscis River Safari: Around 1500 hrs, you will be taken on a private Proboscis River Safari. The tour starts with pick up from your hotel and transfer to the boat jetty in the capital city. Board an open deck local wooden boat and cruise along the Brunei River passing the Water Village and the Capital City. This experience will give you a view of two different worlds – one side; you will see the modern developing capital city of Brunei and on the other side of the river, you will see the nostalgic serenity of the biggest Malay Water Village in the world. Cruise slowly under the mangrove trees where you can witness the wonder of the mangrove world. You will have the chance to see a unique fish that can live underwater as well as on land. Make a few stops under the mangrove trees and on the lookout for the rare endangered species primate – the proboscis monkey which usually comes near to the water in the early morning and at dusk time.

DAY 2

Visit to Ulu Temburong National Park: Breakfast at Hotel. Today, you will be taken on a nature escapade to Temburong National Park Your day starts with pick up from your hotel at around 0700Hrs and proceed with a scenic drive to Batang Duri in Temburong district. The journey will take around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Experience a scenic drive on the longest bridge in Southeast Asia. Upon arrival at Batang Duri jetty, you will be given a briefing on your trip and also on the safety measures to be taken during your nature escapade. Refreshing morning coffee and tea will be served before continuing your journey to Belalong Wilderness National Park by long boat which will take around one hour of scenic river cruise depending on the water level. During low water level season, you will have the privilege of getting wet and help to push the long boat upstream against the water current. Upon arrival at the park center, register and get your park entry pass before proceeding on your nature trek and canopy walk adventure. Later back to Batang Duri and have lunch before transferring back to your hotel.

Notes: Ulu Temburong National Park – Occupies approximately 50,000ha of the Batu Apoi Forest Reserve which is located in the Temburong district. The park’s locality and steep, swampy terrain have limited human impact on the area and helped preserve its rich biodiversity. Established forest trails through the park 7 KM of wooden walkways which protect the ground vegetation and help prevent erosion. A canopy walkway affords visitors an opportunity to observe the rain forest’s diverse treetop ecosystem.

DAY 3

Full day city and water village tour: Breakfast at Hotel. The tour begins with pick up from your hotel at around 09:00 Hrs. Tour highlights include visits to the Morning Market, Malay Technology Museum, Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque and photo stop at the entrance of the biggest residential palace in the World – Istana Nurul Iman which is the official residence of His Majesty The Sultan of Negara Brunei Darussalam. Lunch at a local restaurant included. After lunch, continue with a visit to the Royal Regalia Museum which was built in 1992 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty’s The Sultan of Brunei accession to the throne in 1967. After that, proceed on a scenic boat ride around the biggest Malay Water Village in the world and a visit to a local home where you can witness the daily livelihood of a typical villager living in houses on stilts on Brunei River. Visit The Mall Shopping Complex for some of your own activities. Visit Gadong Night Market. After dinner in a local restaurant, you will be taken on a scenic evening drive thru the capital city with photo stops.

DAY 4

Depart Bandar Seri Begawan: Breakfast at Hotel. Around 10:00Hrs pickup from your hotel and private transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward destination.
