DAY 1

Upon arrival, you will be met and assisted by TOTAL HOLIDAY OPTIONS tour manager in the arrival lounge holding a THO plaque card with an assisted transfer to your designated hotel for an overnight stay in Colombo / Negombo.

DAY 2

Morning travel by road to the hill capital Kandy. In the evening witness a Kandyan cultural performance with an overnight stay in your designated hotel.

DAY 3

After breakfast travel to Kadugannawa to experience a short train journey through Ceylon tea plantation. Disembark in Nanu Oya and travel by road to Nuwara Eliya, home of the famous Ceylon Tea with rolling mountains that forms a carpet of velvety green tea plantations, interspersed with gushing streams and tumbling waterfalls. Rest of the afternoon is free to stroll around this beautiful Tea state, with breathtaking views of the valley, meadows, mountains and greenery insalubrious climate. Stay overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 4

After enjoying our breakfast, today travel to Yala National Park. Its open undulating terrain makes it famous for elephants and the endangered Leopard. Claims have subsequently been made that Yala National Park has the world’s highest concentration of leopard per square kilometre. Evening, participate in spiritual ceremony at Kataragama Temple. Stay overnight in Tissamaharama.

DAY 5

Morning enjoys safari at Yala before travelling to Bentota. En-route at Galle and moonstones mines in Meetiyagoda. Enjoy two nights stay at Bentota / Beruwela, where the broad, sandy, gently shelving beach has calm, warm waters on two fronts-the seas for swimming and the River where one can take a lazy boat ride upstream and through the mangroves. Optionally enjoy water sports as this place has on offer many options to choose from, such as windsurfing, water-skiing and catamaran rides.

DAY 6

Day at Leisure to enjoy your relaxing beach stay.

DAY 7

After a leisurely breakfast journey back to Colombo. The tour finishes late afternoon with a direct transfer to the airport to enable you to catch your return onward flight.
